OMLTA has partnered with Nipissing University to offer Additional Qualification courses (AQs) in Spanish since 2013. Spanish, Part 1 (to gain the qualification to teach español) and Part 2 (for experienced and/or qualified teachers) will again be offered this spring-summer session!
New in 2022, Nipissing will offer a Portuguese, Part 1 AQ for the first time! Successful candidates in the Portuguese AQ are eligible for bursaries and teaching resources from Instituto Camões/CEPE Canadá.
Italian, Part 1 is also running again!
German, Part 1 is also being offered again! Successful candidates in the German AQ are eligible for bursaries and teaching resources from the Goethe-Institut Toronto.
International Languages teachers are needed and valued in our province. If you communicate proficiently in any of these languages, learn more about the AQs at http://www.nipissingu.ca/AQ. Registration for proficiency tests is open from February 15 to May 1, 2022.
