Purpose of the Webinar Series

In order to begin the path to becoming an antiracist FSL educator, seeds need to be planted. Educators need the foundations first before they may feel comfortable, confident, and equipped to be equitable and inclusive in their second language learning classrooms in a manner that is sincere and authentic. As such, in this series, a variety of educators and professionals have developed a resource to begin supporting FSL teachers to achieve this goal

Here, we will explore the principles of anti-racist education and present three different stages of engagement with antiracism, offering small, but actionable steps that FSL educators can take within their personal and professional lives.
