Purpose of the Webinar Series

The objective of this project is to follow up Module Series I (comprised of Roots of White Supremacy, Know Thyself, Actionable Pathways, and Africentric Education) which you can view on the OMLTA website. Moreover, the goal is to gather educators and professionals to continue to develop their understanding of the nuances and complexities of being an anti-racist FSL Educator. This second series focuses on two modules: Standing up Against Islamophobia and Standing up Against Antisemitism.

We advise that you begin with Module 1 and watch it as four mini-videos as the module is divided into two parts. Then, continue with Module 2 that is also divided into four parts.

Facilitators’ Guide

The Series 2 Facilitators’ Guide expands on the Series 1 guide, and provides detailed guidance to those who will be leading facilitations or workshops of these two modules. The Guide includes detailed outlines of the modules, considerations for planning a facilitation, and guidance for how to facilitate, as well as sample facilitation outlines. There are also numerous resources linked within the document for further learning.

Module 2: Standing Up Against Antisemitism
